Why do I need CE marking?

CE marking of a product is required because:

• ensures the free movement of such a product in the single market of the European Free Trade Association and the European Union;

• ensures that the device is distributed on the market legally and meets the requirements of the customs and national market surveillance authorities of the European Economic Area, which protect the product from removal from the market.
